Over the Easter weekend, I was pulling up a chair to eat with strangers. Like many of you, my adult children live in different states and have multiple in-laws they and our shared grandchildren need to spend time with. This was my year to give up my place at the table. Joining a new group of friends for Easter was a bit anxiety-provoking but the invitation was very much welcomed. As we reached the end of our meal I was officially adopted by this new group and given the name Sister Cousin!
Connecting and building relationships is what I do as the head of marketing efforts for CTC. Our social platform posts are built around the premise that being transparent in our purpose of serving veterans that served our country will reap benefits for all. But sharing the same food with others is a much more intimate act. It reinforces comradery and that in turn is where trust is birthed. Food brings us together, shapes our memories, and empowers our communities. I see this every week as I scroll through VFW posts from across the country. Seriously, it can be 8 AM and I want to sit down with you all over a plate of spaghetti!
Getting social with you beyond social media is one of the best ways CTC has to really know you. This April we’ve focused on reaching out through private messages, emails and phone calls to various veterans organizations we believe would benefit from learning more about how CTC assists veterans and others obtain compensation from the asbestos trusts.
If you think this is something that would be valuable to the veterans and their families that you serve reach out to me on our social platforms or send us an email – info@cleartrustclaims.com. We will do our best to break bread with you and if that can’t happen let’s explore newsletter opportunities or Zoom meetings so we all can spread the word about the Asbestos Trusts and our process.
Cheers to the power of food and the kick-off to new friendships!
