Craig, who is the Administrative Partner of Clear Trust Claims LLP (“CTC”) is a retired lawyer and over the hill jock, who finally listened to the golf gods and gave up the game. Craig was in private practice for almost 25 years, primarily handling complex cases. Towards the end of his practice, he became interested in legal analytics and technology to make litigation more efficient and effective. Since retiring from practice, he has served as a consultant for litigation matters to evaluate and resolve cases, using technology. He has also worked with technology companies to develop tools for the management of litigation.
Craig became interested in the asbestos trusts approximately four years ago when he learned that there was a need for a law firm like CTC) to serve Veterans and others suffering from asbestos diseases, who had trouble finding a lawyer to represent them because their claims were relatively small and even if they could a lawyer who willing to represent them, they would have to pay a contingent fee of 25%-40% plus expenses. Along with the other partners in CTC, Craig formed CTC to serve them, only charging a 10% contingent fee plus expenses.
When Craig is not busy with his consulting and with CTC, he spends time with his family, teaching ESL, church activities, exercising and with his Labrador Retriever Emma, who is very demanding.
